Cup Shine

A specialist foaming descaler with high foaming properties to maximise contact time for use on drinker systems.

Limescale builds-up on drinker cups and inside the drinker pipe which creates an ideal environment for biofilm to attach itself and grow. This then encourages both bacteria & viruses to feed on and readily multiply.

The result being both disease and growth problems with the poultry which has a knock-on effect on the profitability of your farm.

This limescale build-up is a problem that the poultry industry has tried to solve in the past with limited success. Today, where nipple drinkers are more common the process of cleaning is more difficult. This is mainly due to the number of cups and the difficulty to remove the pipe. Unfortunately this is a problem that is lived with due to the pressures of turnaround.

A solution to this is CupShine Descaler which offers rapid limescale removal & has a strong descaling action which is specially formulated for use on drinker systems and has high foaming properties to maximize contact time.

How to use

Cup Shine should be applied with low powered foaming equipment such as a knapsack sprayer to achieve optimal coverage. A pressure washer can be used but, to get the same effect as using a knapsack sprayer, several applications are needed.

Apply an even coating of foam to drinkers and pipework as needed, then leave for 30-40 minutes before rinsing off.

Do not use with hot water and always read the safety instructions before use.

Biolink

Biolink Limited was formed in 2007 to sell agricultural disinfectants and cleaners into the agricultural industry. The business expanded on the back of innovative new products backed up by on-farm service and advice. Early in 2011, the company purchased a manufacturing business in Northamptonshire to enable total quality control. This has supported expansion and provision of toll manufacturing services together with product formulation services to other businesses.

Growth has also come from understanding the importance customers place on having uniform products for the supply chain and the critical role that biosecurity plays within this. To this end Biolink pioneered the “Platinum Programme” which is tailored to individual farms across the agricultural industry, in particular for pullet rearing, layers, broilers, ducks, turkeys, pheasant rearing, plus swine and equine. Working closely with individual customers, this targeted and encompassed approach ensures that the best possible economic return to the farm is achieved.

In 2014 Biolink set up a strategic partnership with Theseo to join its business activities and expand the combined businesses both in Europe and globally. The two companies have consolidated distribution and marketing services to strengthen its position worldwide. The new partnership manufactures and markets a complete and innovative range of biosecurity products and services, ranging from disinfectants and detergents to water sanitising products and vitamins/supplements.
